on July 2th, 2019 there will be a new Remote Desktop Server GWD-WinTS1.top.gwdg.de. The operating system is Server 2016 and the design like Windows 10. The software is up to date and completed with a few new tools. The new virtual user profile disk allows a very fast log on and log off.   Access from outside of GÖNET is with a gateway server that allows worldwide access. The name of the gateways is GWD-RDP-Proxy.top.gwdg.de. Alternatively you may use a VPN connection or a web client. More information is found here: https://www.gwdg.de/rds.
